LEGO Braille Bricks

As part of our Lend & Mend section we have a set of LEGO Braille Bricks which were kindly supplied to us by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB).

LEGO Braille Bricks

Each LEGO Braille brick has a braille character on it, and with more than 100 activities available, this set gives children and adults living with visual impairment the opportunity to learn braille through play and creativity.

The set is available to borrow from Orkney Library & Archive as part of our Library of Things collection.

Find out more about LEGO Braille Bricks at https://braillebricks.com and you can read more out our services for people living with visual impairment at https://orkneylibrary.org.uk/services-for-the-visually…/

Please note – to borrow our set of LEGO Braille Bricks or any of our other Lend & Mend items you must be a registered library member and must be aged 18 or over. You must also sign an Equipment Loan Agreement each time you borrow an item from our Lend & Mend collection. We also ask that all borrowed equipment is returned in good, clean condition ready for the next user.
