Summary of the records held in Orkney Wildlife Information & Records Centre
The Records Centre contains a wealth of wildlife information suitable for private study, environmental assessments, planning applications, student projects or development proposals.
OWIARC staff can produce detailed reports in plain English complete with maps, with each report custom tailored to the individual query.
OWIARC is constantly updating its data, so it is recommended that you contact the Records Centre if you are looking for specific information or to discuss the costs of producing reports. It is also hoped that habitat mapping will shortly be available.
Primula scotica
Dr Elaine. R. Bullard M.B.E amassed a large amount of information during her study of Primula scotica. OWIARC acquired these records, field notes etc. after her death, and have catalogued all the items.
Within the records and field notes were correspondences with various people on the subject of Primula scotica. These are not being made publicly available at this time. All the rest of the information has been catalogued and the catalogue can be downloaded here. If you wish to view any of the items catalogued, please contact OWIARC.
